Tempered Glass Types

Clear Tempered Glass (White Tempered Glass)
The most common type, widely used in buildings, doors and windows, partitions, and furniture.
Ultra-Clear Tempered Glass
Low iron and highly transparent, with no green tint; often used for display cases, aquariums, sunrooms, and high-end doors and windows.
Colored Tempered Glass
Body colors: green, gray, bronze, blue, etc., mostly used for decoration, curtain walls, and privacy partitions.
Coated Tempered Glass
Includes sunlight control coatings, Low-E tempered glass (core for energy-saving doors, windows, and curtain walls), with offline Low-E and online Low-E options.

Common standard thickness

The whole series can be tempered, commonly used for both residential and industrial purposes: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 19mm.

3/4mm: small-sized tempered glass, mirrors, small decorative pieces
5/6mm: regular doors and windows, shower rooms, tabletops (most commonly used)
8/10/12mm: glass partitions, railings, spring-loaded doors, staircase treads
15/19mm: heavy glass, large panels, load-bearing railings, curtain walls

1. Laminated tempered glass

5+1.52 PVB+5 double tempered laminated glass
6+1.52 PVB+6, 8+1.52 PVB+8
Thicker version: 10+2.28 PVB+10, etc.
Interlayer thickness: 0.76mm, 1.52mm, 2.28mm (the bigger the number, the better the impact resistance and sound insulation)

2. Hollow Tempered Glass

5+12A+5 double tempered hollow (most common)
6+12A+6, 6+15A+6
A = air layer, common spacings: 9A, 12A, 15A, 20A

3. Hollow Laminated Glass

Hollow + laminated combination, used for high-rise buildings, street-facing, and villa doors and windows, offering safety + sound insulation + thermal insulation.
Example: 5+12A+5+1.52PVB+5

4.Surface / Edge Finishing

Edge finishing: fine grinding, rough grinding, rounding, chamfering
Surface: sandblasting, frosting, baking paint, printing, fireproof treatment
Function: fireproof tempered glass, bulletproof tempered glass (special glass)
